You always crackle me up

Monday, 31 October 2016

Growing up in a family and culture where everything revolved around food has played an important role in my appreciation for it. Through celebration and commemorations to religious offerings, food has been the one thing that has kept us together. I have been blessed to have grown up with my mother's cooking. The Vietnamese/ Chinese influence and natural born talent  my mother for food has meant that I have known good food from the moment I began eating. Perhaps that is why, this cuisine is rarely on my radar when I go out to eat; because I am yet to find someone who is able to do it quite as much justice.

It's im-pasta-ble not to feel this way

Melbourne's Italian game has never looked quite so strong.

You are just so Mexcellent

You know you have it good when you can throw away the fancy antics you get in fine dining and get messy while you eat. When you don't worry about etiquette and your image and just enjoy the meal. When everyone goes silent because you're all too busy eating, so the only judgement that would be passed is if you don't finish the darn good food before you.

In the meagre twenty one years of my life, this may of been my most memorable (and favourite) as of yet.

I Nieuw you were the one for me

I am an A+ Zomato stalker and am always on the hunt for my next food adventure with Bub. We always love discovering new places and consider three main ingredients for the perfect evening; food (is there even a question about?), decor and service.
